Bed Bugs and Clutter

This week I inspected a home for bed bugs, various stages of live bed bugs were found throughout the house. Unfortunately we could not perform a treatment due to clutter, (excessive clothes, books, shoes, toys, magazines). The homeowner was instructed on how to prepare for an Initial Treatment This clutter not only prevents a thorough  treatment but also provides harborage  and a place for laying eggs. We have found bed bug eggs on stuffed animals, hats and other items. We can encounter bed bugs just about every where we go,but once they become house guest you may need to unclutter.
